Day 1: Auckland Arrival (Private sailing charter/dinner cruise in Auckland harbour)
You will be met on arrival at Auckland International Airport by your Aroha NZ Tours Representative and transferred to your accommodation in our luxurious vehicle. You will spend the day in the Inner City and near the America’s Cup Village. At late afternoon we have organised a private charter vessel to take you for a cruise in the Auckland harbour and the Hauraki Gulf. The classic gentleman’s luxury 47 foot launch gives you a chance to experience the “City of Sails” first hand. Watch the fairy-tale lights of Auckland City passing by while dining and cruising the Auckland Harbour. If you are still not tired then, visit the nearby Viaduct Basin and its many lively bars. Accommodation: Auckland - Hilton Hotel, Westin Hotel or Mollies Hotel

Day 2: Auckland – Domestic Flight-Bay of Islands/Northland (Helicopter flight and 4 WD Sand dune experience at Cape Reinga)
Private Pick up from your inner city hotel to the domestic Airport in Auckland where you will board a domestic flight to Keri Keri in the Bay of Islands. A taxi will await you and transfer you to your Luxury Lodge accommodation. We have arranged a private helicopter flight and ½ day tour to Cape Reinga. The initial flight will depart the Paihia waterfront up to the Cape Reinga region via Northlands spectacular harbours, such as the Whangaroa Harbour and the Rangaunu Harbour. We also pass across some beautiful beaches such as Coopers Beach, Doubtless Bay and of course the famous Ninety Mile Beach. Once on the ground you will take part on a guided 4WD quad bike excursion on either the 90 mile beach, or the Great Exhibition Bay areas. Both are great – the Great Exhibition Bay. This area is very remote and without a doubt one of the most beautiful places in New Zealand with it's pure white silica sand and crystal clear water. The return flight to the Bay of Islands includes some of the most spectacular coastal scenery Northland has to offer. Accommodation: Bay of Island - Eagles Nest or Kauri Cliffs

Day 3: Bay of Island (Big Game Fishing)
The Bay of Islands/Northland is a world-renowned holiday destination for deep sea and big game fishing. The historic town of Russell was the first permanent European settlement and sea port in New Zealand. Dotted with 144 islands and a myriad of secluded beaches, the entire region offers a fantastic opportunity to fish in waters that are rich with an abundance of sealife! Marlin and Tuna are very seasonally in the Bay of Islands unlike other gamefish such as Yellowtail Kingfish that are available all year round. We have booked a 36” vessel for a private charter to take you out into the ocean. Accommodation: Bay of Island - Eagles Nest or Kauri Cliffs

Day 4: Bay of Islands (North Island) domestic flight to Queenstown (South Island)
You will be transferred from your accommodation to the Domestic Airport in Keri Keri to board a flight back to Auckland and a connecting flight to Queenstown. Queenstown is situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Wakatipu, surrounded by the majestic Remarkables mountains. Queenstown is the top adventure capital in the world and the activity center in New Zealand. Most of the cast of Lord of the Rings was based here and major parts of the movie where filmed in this region. In the afternoon you can relax in the tranquil settings of your luxury lodge style accommodation. Many people believe that your will be surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. Accommodation: Queenstown - Blanket Bay Lodge, Azur Lodge, The Spire Hotel

Day 5: Queenstown (Helicopter flight to Milford Sounds/glacier landing)
Today we have organised a helicopter flight to Milford Sound. The icon of Mitre Peak beckons you as your helicopter lifts off to begin your journey into Milford Sound. Get up and close with some of the most spectacular mountains and glaciers in the Southern Alps before landing at Milford. Experience the Sound up close and personal with great photo opportunities of Mitre Peak and the Bowen falls. Upon departing Milford via the Harrison Valley take in the beautiful blue green icefalls, true rivers of ice, as we land you exclusively upon Ngapunatoru Plateau of Mt Tutoko. One of the few companies with this privilege! Return to Queenstown via isolated valleys with impressive views to make this special trip truly memorable. The afternoon is free for relaxation at the lodge, hiking, or book a round of golf. Accommodation: Queenstown - Blanket Bay Lodge, Azur Lodge, The Spire Hotel

Day 6: Queenstown (Balloon ride and Dart River jet boat safari)
(Dawn around 5am) Experience sunrise over the lakes and mountains from the serenity of a hot air balloon. (3 hours flight) You'll float gently with the breeze, enjoying incredible panoramic views. Your flight is followed by a champagne style breakfast at your landing spot. Queenstown is the top adventure and activity centre in New Zealand. In the afternoon we have planed an exhilarating Jet boat ride through” Paradise. (Duration 4,5 h) This is one of the most beautiful places in New Zealand and used for a favourite location in several Hollywood productions and commercials around the world. Maori passed through this area in their search for pounamu (NZ Jade), but is until m1862 that settlers arrived in the search for gold. Glenorchy is one of the Gateways to Mt Aspirin National Park covering a large World heritage area. You travel on the Dart River further into the Park along a most pictures river and multiple river arms to a forest glade. The high peak of Mt Ears law and its Glazier is powering over this area.  Accommodation: Queenstown - Blanket Bay Lodge, Azur Lodge, The Spire Hotel
