Veronika Wasel is the founder and proprietor of Aroha Luxury New Zealand Tours and, the person with whom you might expect to greet you upon arrival to this country. Either in the company of Veronika or one of her hand-selected guides you can personally feel assured you‟re in the best possible „guiding‟ hands this country has to offer.
Bred from colourful bloodlines; this European-born Kiwi has earned her tour business an exceptional reputation as a leader in NZ‟s tourism industry—both here and abroad.
Veronika maintains a progressive approach to knowing her industry and keeps an open mind to changes within it. She says while modern transport has revolutionized the method of travel—what‟s more noticeable is the shift in her clients‟ philosophy to touring and discovery. “Its not all about buying „the best‟ of everything during the journey, but the spiritual, authentic quality of their experience!” she says candidly.
Veronika arrived here with an immense wealth of business “know-how” at a relatively young age. Her beginnings were taking great responsibility in the family‟s boat-building business as a teenager. She continued to make her mark throughout Europe in the construction field then publishing… where she produced a successful business investment magazine, amongst many other things.
In 1995, this budding entrepreneur made a last minute decision to visit New Zealand where she‟s remained since. “My instincts told me for the first time in my life; this place was my home.” Reflecting on her love with the country we call “God-zone”.
